Specifics for this role
This role involves supervising classes in the absence of the teacher, including when they are attending meetings, training, or unplanned absences. You will oversee the work set by teachers, ensure pupils stay on task and follow the school’s behaviour expectations, complete class registers, and maintain a calm and orderly learning environment. The role also requires close liaison with Leadership Team members, Subject Leaders, and class teachers to support the smooth running of the school day.
