The governors of St Anne’s Catholic School seek to appoint
an enthusiastic and effective teacher to the role of teacher of psychology.
St Anne’s is a highly successful 11-16 girls’ school with a
mixed sixth form in the heart of Southampton. Rated by Ofsted as outstanding in
all areas, our Catholic ethos means we pride ourselves on ensuring that staff
wellbeing is at the heart of every decision we make. Our results show that this
leads to positive and successful learning experiences for our pupils. Staff and
students often use the word ‘family’ to describe what it feels like to be part
of the school community. That is why colleagues tell us they enjoy working here
and are proud to be a member of St Anne’s.
The successful candidate will join an effective and
established team with an experienced head of department. The post is suitable
for ECTs or an experienced teacher looking to develop their career. Willingness
to teach another social science (sociology, criminology, economics) or to offer
a second subject is an advantage for full-time applicants.
Closing date: midday, Thursday 8th May
Interviews: TBC
Application forms and further details can be obtained below. Alternatively, please contact the Head’s PA via email - pahead@st-annes.uk.com or call 023 8032 8200.
