Parent Governors

There are upcoming vacancies as parent governors at St Anne’s, following the end of the terms of office of our current parent governors, whose service to the school and generosity of time has been much appreciated.  The Governing Body’s role is to provide perspective on the decisions of the Headteacher and checks and balances on the school’s work.  Governors play a key role in strategic leadership and in monitoring educational and financial performance.  A parent governor offers the perspective of a parent in the work of the school.  It is not an operational role.  More details can be found in the documents on the relevant page of the website.

Applications should be received by the school at pahead @ st-annes.uk.com by midday on Friday 18 October.  We welcome applications from any parent able to commit to this role as described in the relevant documents and would particularly welcome the perspective of parents with professional expertise in finance.  Informal conversations with the headteacher are welcomed: please email the above email address to book an appointment.

Closing date: Midday, Friday 18 October

Application forms and further details can be obtained below. Alternatively, please contact the Head’s PA via email - pahead@st-annes.uk.com or call 023 8032 8200.

Please note that all three forms below must be submitted.

This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. These roles require an enhanced Criminal Records Disclosure.
